2023 at English Tea Shop

2023 was a brilliant year for English Tea Shop, we achieved lots of great things and continued to grow our (Prajāva) community. As we begin 2024, we’d like to take a look back at our wonderful achievements in the past year.

Our Community

We continued to grow our wonderful tea-loving community (Prajava) by venturing into new markets from UAE to Croatia. It was a remarkable year of connecting with our partners and growing our network from organic trade fairs to travel retail such as Anuga and TFWA. Finally, we met with our GGOB community guiding us to follow the Great Game of Business at ETS) who have been a great part in our ETS journey at their annual conference held in the USA. In addition to this, we underwent the momentous step of launching in Holland & Barrett in the UK and Denree in Germany, making our teas more accessible to our community.

Our Products

This year we continued to prioritise the quality and integrity of our products, progressing in our Organic++ journey to revamp several blends in our portfolio, that go beyond the EU 848/18 regulations. We are in the process of revamping all of our blends and will continue to do so throughout 2024. We launched our innovative and much anticipated gin botanicals range as well as our cold brew teas, and continued the diversification of the Moments collection to make gifting more personal, catering to various occasions. In addition to this, we launched the Travel Tea collection, such as the Tea Notebook and Traveller’s Collection, expanding our varied and exciting product range. We were thrilled to win the accolade of Best Organic Product of the Year in France, for our Iced Tea Assortment. This award is a testament to our team’s continued hard work and dedication around the globe.

Giving Back

We launched the Prajãva Wellbeing program to take a holistic approach towards the wellbeing of our community. From empowering through inclusivity to the physical and mental well being to educational needs, we took various steps to promote a virtuous cycle of wellbeing. In addition we successfully completed a year of the Parent & Child Benefit program in collaboration with The Centre for Child Rights & Business, which is now fully managed and funded by ETS. We received the Mother and Child Friendly Seal from The Centre for Child Rights & Business, and were able to extend the parent and child benefit program to 25 farmers’ children as a first phase.

We’re not slowing down and we have a lot of exciting things planned for the year ahead, so keep your eye out for more.
