  • 2 English Tea Shop Gin Botanicals pyramids
  • 250ml freshly boiled water
  • 150ml gin
  • 500ml sparkling water, tonic or prosecco
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • Fresh ginger slices, optional
  • Ice
  • Fresh mint or rosemary, to garnish

Method

Infuse the Gin Botanicals pyramids in freshly boiled water for 5–7 minutes.

Remove the pyramids and allow the infusion to cool.

Fill a large jug with ice, orange slices, a cinnamon stick and fresh ginger, if using.

Pour in the cooled infusion and gin.

Top with sparkling water, tonic or prosecco.

Stir gently, garnish and serve chilled.

For an alcohol-free spritz, leave out the gin and use sparkling water or tonic. You’ll still get a refreshing citrus-spice serve.

Ingredient of the Month: Orange

Orange has a way of making a drink feel instantly more uplifting.

Its juicy citrus notes soften spice, add natural sweetness and bring freshness to every sip. That’s why it works so well in this sparkling tea spritz.

Here, orange balances the warmer notes and keeps each glass light, fragrant and easy to enjoy.

Blend of the Month: Orange, Ginger & Cinnamon

Our Orange, Ginger & Cinnamon blend brings together three much-loved flavours in one comforting cup.

Orange adds the citrus heart. Ginger brings a lively kick. Cinnamon rounds everything off with soft, familiar spice.

It’s lovely enjoyed hot when you want something cosy, or served chilled when you’re looking for something more refreshing. For this recipe, those same flavours inspired a spritz that feels just right for summer.

Why Tea Makes a Beautiful Spritz

Tea is a wonderful base for creative drinks. It brings depth, aroma and balance without needing too much sweetness.

Our Gin Botanicals pyramids work especially well in simple serves like this. They add botanical character to the pitcher, while the citrus and spice bring colour and warmth.

It’s also an easy dinner party idea. Make the infusion ahead, chill it in the fridge, then add your bubbles just before serving.

A Thoughtful Summer Gift

Gin Botanicals also make a lovely bring-along gift for a summer dinner party.

They’re light, useful and a little unexpected, ideal for hosts who enjoy flavourful drinks, creative serves and a good catch-up around the table.
