The clink of ice cubes may not be something you associate with tea, but did you know we have blends specially created for enjoying chilled?
Cold Brews
We have two refreshing Cold Brew teas to choose from which make a healthy alterative to sugary carbonated drinks.
Our fruity Super Berries Cold Brew combines organic hibiscus, rooibos, spearmint, sweet blackberry leaves and natural berry flavours. Simply infuse in chilled or room temperature water for a delightful antioxidant-rich drink.
For something with extra zing, try our Lemongrass, Citrus & Ginger Cold Brew which also contains orange, ginger, lime oil and mandarin oil.
Each blend comes in handy packs of seven pyramid tea bags.
Iced Tea
If you decide to create a classic pitcher of iced tea, simply choose your favourite of our black teas, brew as normal, then chill and add ice.
Four tea bags per litre of boiling water is a typical proportion, with iced tea brewed a little stronger than regular tea to allow for the additional ice, but it’s best to tweak to your own taste. Some people like to add sugar at the brewing stage.
Lemon slices and mint sprigs are a popular iced tea garnish to add some zing. Experiment and you’ll find green and botanical teas can work equally well iced.
Gin Botanicals
